Angola: Over Fifty DR Congo Citizens Deport For Unlawful Stay In Angola

Around 53 DR Congo residents who were living in Angola illegally were ousted in the beginning of this week by Angola’s Migration ad Foreigners Service (SME) of the northern Zaire Province.

The said subjects were confined in the ambit of a joint activity of the SME and the National Police and were sent back to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).


ANGOP has learnt that a significant number of the confined outsiders had with them fashioned Angolan reports, for example, travel permit, voter card and birth endorsement.

The northern Zaire Province shares a long lborder with the Congo Central region of the DRC, which is estimated at 330 kilometres, of which 150 kilometres correspond to the fluvial border.
