On Friday, Zozibini Tunzi was crowned Miss South Africa 2019, at a glitzy ceremony at the Sun Arena at Time Square in Menlyn, Pretoria.
The 25-year-old hails from Tsolo eSdwadweni in the Eastern Cape but resides in Cape Town currently beat 15 other women to reign supreme.
Tunzi walked away with the prestigious title and R3-million in prize money and sponsorships deals.
This isn’t the first time, Tunzi has entered the prestigious pagent in 2017 and went all the way, to the semi-finals and now she has snatched the crown.
Tamaryn Green who won the pageant last year handed over the crown- Buhle, to Tunzi after her name was announced.
Bonang Matheba once again hosted the pageant and dazzled with her stellar presenting skills and her outfits left critics with little to say.
Tunzi’s crowning has been praised by Mzansi with many calling her win, a well-deserved one.
