M.anifest is the grandson of J.H. Kwabena Nketia, one of Africa’s foremost ethno-musicologists and composers.He is the son of Ghanaian lawyer and a former Chief Executive of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, Tsatsu Tsikata.

His mother, Nana Nketia, is also a lawyer and a pastor at International Central Gospel Church (ICGC).
