Some African leaders are already joining other world leaders for the one week 72nd Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) high-level events starting on Tuesday.
The Nigerian government has confirmed today, Monday that President Muhammadu Buhari had arrived in New York.
The Malawian and Ugandan governments have also confirmed the arrival in the U.S. of their respective leaders – Peter Mutharika and Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. South Africa’s government also confirmed on Sunday afternoon that President Jacob Zuma had arrived in New York.
