Uganda: ‘Teacher Mpamire’ Awarded As The Most Influential Personality In The 2017 Africa Youth Awards


Popular Ugandan comedian, Herbert Ssegujja Mendo, aka Teacher Mpamire has been awarded as the most influential figure personality in the recently concluded Africa Youth Awards 2017 that were held on Thursday, 29th August 2017 in the Ghanaian capital of Accra.

He is well known for mimicking the Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and the talented actor and high school teachers seems to be good to go as far as prospering in his career as a comedian with his performances giving him limelight to hit stages across Africa and the world at large.

The awards aim at recognizing young achievers across the African continent that considers over 140 countries in participation on the continent aiming at inspiring African personalities with talent to reach out for their dreams.

The list which was restricted to age limits between, 15 and i36 had coverage of 28 countries on the continent with Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana and Kenya leading g with the most representatives out of the 100 nominees.
