Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has arrived to his country after 49 days of medical vacation to the United Kingdom.
The president reportedly arrived the country on Friday, March 10 at about 4a.m., 49 days after he left the country on a vacation to the United Kingdom. He was received by dignitaries as he was choppered straight to Aso Rock presidential villa, Abuja, Nigeria.
Owing to the closure of the Abuja airport, presidency sources revealed that his plane landed at the Kaduna airport in the few hours of Friday, following which he was to be flown by helicopter to the President Villa, Abuja.
The sources also revealed that the president might address the nation on Friday after his long absence, in order to quell any concerns over his capacity to govern.
