Boko Haram: ‘It’s time Christians prayed for Gods’ interveniton’

CHRISTIANS all over the country have been enjoined to organise special prayer sessions for God’s intervention over the insurgent the Boko Haram attacks, especially in the Northern part of Nigeria.

This call was made by the chairman, Central Working Committee, Baptist Night of Wonders of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, Reverend Evangelist Johnson Adeleke, at a press conference held at the convention’s headquarter, Ibadan.

Reverend Adeleke said “no arms or ammunition can fight het Boko Haram sect because it is a spiritual problem as stated in Ephesians 6:10. Boko Haram members are jihadists, hence we need spiritual weapon which is prayer to confront whatever problem they’re waging against Nigeria.”

The programme, tagged, “the Potter’s Touch,” comes up today at the Baptist Convention ground, Idi-Ishin, Jericho, Ibadan, by 10.p.m, according to Reverend Adeleke. attacks in Nigeria.
