THE management of Air Nigeria yesterday said the airline had resumed normal flight operations on its domestic and regional routes.
In a statement yesterday, the airline’s Media Relations Manager, Mr. Samuel Ogbogoro, explained that the action came after the successful audit and clearance of its outfit’s fleet of aircraft by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
Last Tuesday, the NCAA announced the suspension of the airline’s operations and lifted it a day after. The agency had said its move was informed by week-long strike declared by pilots and engineers in the company.
Ogbogoro said the post-strike audit was a standard practice in the aviation sector to ensure safety standards.
