The Joint Task Force, JTF, Tuesday morning uncovered a bomb factory at Sharada area of Kano after the military engaged the owners of the house in a gun battle that lasted over 4hours.
One suspected owner of the bomb factory was killed in the shoot out, as arms and Improvised Explosive Devices, IEDs, bomb making equipment were recovered. Two women and children were also rescued during the raid.
The area has been cordoned off by the JTF.
