The dreaded Boko Haram insurgents struck again in Kaduna State on Monday killing a Lebanese staff of a construction company working on a water project in the state and his Nigerian driver. They also abducted another Lebanese national.
According to the state police spokesman. Aminu Lawan: “The gunmen attacked the construction bus in which they were travelling, shot dead a Lebanese and the Nigerian driver and kidnapped another Lebanese.”
He said that the attack took place at a location near Zaria, the second largest town in Kaduna State and that the police are on the still searching for the criminals as well as the kidnapped Lebanese.
.Meanwhile, the Joint Task Force (JTF) was reported to have shot dead four members of the Boko Haram sect in Kano yesterday.
The full details of the circumstances surrounding the killing were still sketchy as at press time.
