The vice-chancellor of the university, Prof. Michael Adikwu while announcing this said that her appointment takes immediate effect.
Professor Adikwe stated that the brilliant student who won nine awards at the end of her studies is expected to resume work as a Graduate Assistant in the university.
The Governing Council of the institution commended the students for making the institution proud.
The Registrar of the university governing council, Hajia Aisha Babangida while presenting a plaque to the student commended her and other students.
Adikwu said the institution would also give financial assistance to the ex-students in due time. “You can see for three progressive years we have gotten first class in the law school. That is a feet. No faculty does it in this country. It is a big feet for us.
“We have prizes for them. The same thing we are doing now we will do for them (the three remaining students) whenever we are able to and we also have a little money to give to them,” Adikwu said.
In his remarks, Dean of Faculty Law, Prof. Daniel Odeleye, said Miss Sani’s feet had never been recorded in the law school. “In the history of the Nigerian Law School nobody has ever won nine awards,” he said.
